TRIAX FLEET SUPREME 15W-40

Friction Modified Heavy Duty Diesel Oil, CK-4

The TRIAX Fleet Supreme product line is a our flagship heavy duty diesel oil and one of the most sought after diesel oils. Its a full synthetic, friction modified engine oil designed for heavy duty turbo diesel engines requiring an API CK-4 specification, with full backwards compatibility to CJ-4 and CI-4. It also exceeds a wide range of OEM specifications such as VOLVO VDS-4.5, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, Mack, Ford, Chevy and many others in all types applications (heavy duty highway, pick-up and haulers).

TRIAX Fleet Supreme oils are known for eliminating injector stiction in HEUI oil pressure injectors, quiet engine operation, significantly improved fuel economy and extreme drain intervals.

This product uses a unique combination of nano boron and organic moly friction modifiers for outstanding high temp protection, fuel economy and wear prevention. This is coupled with a state-of-the-art boronated dispersant system that actually helps prevent the formation of carbon deposits (prevents it clumping and sticking to parts) to keep your engine extremely clean.

TRIAX Fleet Supreme Diesel Oils come in 5W-40, 5W-30, 10W-30 and 15W-40 viscosity grades.

Great product
Been using product for about 2 years since it was first recommended by a shop where I get my trucks worked on. Ever since, zero stiction and way better engine operation. No other oil I have used comes close.

Pleasantly surprised
Excellent quality. Engine sounds great. Going on 18,000 miles on my truck with it. Found my new favorite oil.

Goodbye Rotella
Switched from Rotella to Triax a few weeks ago, what a difference. The most noticeable difference is the significantly quieter engine and about 6% better MPG. Going uphill feels a lot less sluggish too.

Everyone has their own preference on oil. I was pennzoil for years in the vehicles after I found out it was closest to cen-pe-co that saved an engine that actually blew the oil filter seal! Seriously, 45yrs old now and only one. Drove it 23miles home and right before I parked it there was lifter tick. Few years ago my brother passed and I took over his car. He built the engine and had oil analysis done. It was recommended to him to run Rotella t6. After other oil analysis' was done it was proven to be best. I then had multiple Polaris's at that time. Thousands of miles and hundreds of hours with t6 everything was clean and ran great. Bought a TYM 474C and up for first service, I dug into certifications and specs. No company had full Synthetic standard certifications for all 3 oils needed. I sent out samples. Bought Triax oil for all three. Full Synthetic in everything. Everything is quieter. Steering, engine, hydo and the hydraulic pump are all smoother and quieter. Engine oil is a dark brown from all the additives and the hydraulic oil is dyed red so it's easy to see in the sight glass. The gear oil pores thin when cold but after being ran and hot when checked drips off the dipstick slow like molasses. Kind of long winded I know but can't say enough good things about their oil and can't wait another 80ish hours for another oil analysis to see what the improvement is over OEM fluids!

QUESTION:
I have a 1992 Ford 7.3 diesel. I have a new rebuild engine and I’m looking for a new motor oil. 15-40 is what in it now. Have read many opinions and would like yours about your oil. This engine is aspirated. Thank You Richard
posted by Wood Richard
ANSWER:
Hi Richard, we cannot comment on what other people say but we can tell you our fleet supreme are unique. There is no oil in the industry that provides the same level of wear protection and longevity. Also there is no other diesel oil that prevents stiction in HEUI injectors, without some expensive aftermarket additive. We think you will be very happy with it. Seeing what the oil can do is like cookies. No matter what we tell you, you cant tell how good it is until you actually try it.

Can you run this 15W-40 in engines recommended to run a 5W-40?
posted by Mark Heikkila
ANSWER:
The only difference between a 15W-40 and 5W-40 is cold viscosity, 15 vs 5. Technically, yes, you can run the 15W-40 in any heavy duty diesel application that needs a 5W-40.
